Following Jesus ain’t easy—but it is worth it. In a world that tells us to do what feels good and live for ourselves, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him daily. In Luke 9:24, we are reminded that trying to save our life apart from Christ leads to loss, but surrendering our life for His sake leads to true life. And in John 8:31, Jesus teaches that if we continue in His Word, we are truly His disciples.
