The Mission
Bates Hill Church – Mission Statement
The mission of Bates Hill Church is to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples who live out their faith daily, and serving our community with the love and truth of Christ.
We are committed to teaching the Word of God without compromise, cultivating lives of prayer and worship, and walking alongside people as they grow from salvation to spiritual maturity. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to equip believers to move from comfort to devotion, from attendance to obedience, and from belief to action.
Our mission is lived out as we gather to worship, grow through discipleship, and go into the world as witnesses—loving people where they are, pointing them to Jesus, and helping them become who God has called them to be.

Bates Hill Church – Vision Statement
At Bates Hill Church, our vision is to be a Spirit-filled, Scripture-anchored people who refuse to settle for comfortable religion and instead live devoted lives that make Jesus known.
We exist to awaken hearts to the Gospel, equip believers to walk in obedient faith, and send disciples into our community and beyond with courage, compassion, and conviction. Rooted in the truth of God’s Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to be a church that prays boldly, loves deeply, serves faithfully, and proclaims Christ without apology.
Honoring the faithfulness of those who came before us, we press forward into what God is doing now—calling the weary home, challenging the complacent awake, and raising up ordinary people to live extraordinary lives for the glory of God.
Our vision is not to grow a crowd, but to grow a people—fully alive in Christ, fully surrendered to His will, and fully committed to advancing His Kingdom until Jesus returns.
